Chris Nicholson joined the law firm of White Arnold & Dowd P.C. as an associate in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nicholson served as Clerk to the Honorable Tom King, Jr. in the 10th Judicial Circuit of Alabama. He primarily represents clients in civil and complex litigation and cases involving environmental torts.
Mr. Nicholson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2003 and earned his law degree in 2006 from the University of Alabama School of Law. During law school, Mr. Nicholson served as research assistant to Professor William Henning, Executive Director of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. His duties included research and selection of UCC cases for inclusion in Professor Henning’s revision of Sales and Bulk Transfers (Duesenberg, King, Henning, and Gabriel, 2001), as well as editing the Article 9 volume of the Uniform Commercial Code Series (Hawkland, et al., 2001).
